Address, key location, alarm code and access notes, your emergency phone number, your health and vet data as well as your Homezone are stored encrypted (libsodium) — the key is kept separate from the database.
Carers see your access details only when an alert is actually running — and access is automatically locked again once the call-out is over.

Fundtier
A second safety net – through a QR code for the collar and a personal Fundtier-Code, any finder can reach you without knowing your address. Free.
In the pet profile you create a Fundtier-Code with a QR code for the collar. A physical tag is optional and non-binding.
If your pet runs off, you report it missing – with its last location and a note for your carers, who then help search.
Whoever finds your pet scans the code and can notify you – location and phone number only if they choose. Your address stays hidden.
🔒 Finder data is stored encrypted and deleted after 30 days. Details about your pet appear publicly only while it is reported missing.
Rudel-Chat
Sometimes you just want to sort something out quickly. That's why the chat comes in four contexts – and each time it talks only with the people the matter concerns. In an emergency
If in an emergency truly no one from your pack can make it, Rudelruf™ asks other carers near you. No open network, no strangers off the street — only people who have themselves been entrusted with someone's pet. Loud, urgent, "right now".
In everyday life
The emergency network becomes a real neighbourhood. Through the Community-Dienste you ask for pet-related help, planned and unhurried – voluntary and free. Money never changes hands through Rudelruf™ — in either direction: you don't pay your helpers, and they don't pay anything either. We only make the connection; the help is neighbours helping neighbours.
Someone nearby takes your dog for a round when your day runs long.
Company or a lift to the vet when you can't make it yourself.
A lift with your pet – beyond the vet too, e. g. to dog school or a new home.
Your pet is looked after at the helper's place – even over several days or a holiday. You bring it over, no one has to enter your home.
Care by the hour during the day, without an overnight stay.
